General Contracting

atea had undertaken numerous general contracts from our customers to support their business expansion and operation. The contracts includes base build, progressive build, tools hook-up and also maintenance services. The scope covers civil, structural, architechural, mechanical, electrical and process works. The contract normally is awarded as annual or bi-yearly basis, depending on customer's requirements.

For base build project, atea has the capability to work as a general contractor either with or without Engineering Design (EPC contract or Construction Contract). We provide our technical service throughout the project life cycle, from project initiation to final qualification of facilities. What is required from our client is to provide their requirements and we will able to formulate a turnkey solution for them. The project is normally awarded as a lump sump contract or maximum guranteed price.

Another type of general contract is by schedule of rates. This is applicable for progressive build project and tools hook-up contract. The completed works will be compensated according to the agreed unit rates in contract and the quantity will be validated on site. Generally, the contract period will be annual or bi-yearly, depending on the customer's requirements.

For maintenance contract, atea will claim for each routine maintenance. It is an agreed rate for each scope of maintenance. We are also on 24 hour standby. atea's excellent service has gained our customcer 's confidence and continuity of annual contracts. There are few contracts still continuing until presence moment since day one the plant in operations.
